Nexen Inc. is a major Canadian Oil & Gas producer based in Calgary, Alberta with locations in Yemen, Nigeria, Norway, Dallas and the UK.
Nexen needed a cost effective alternative to their Tibco Portal based Intranet while awaiting their SAP Netweaver portal in development. Desire created a Domino based solution that delivered corporate wikis and web-based applications. The Lotus Notes / Domino application is easily replicated to remote locations thus vastly improving the Intranet speed and usability for all nexen employees and contractors.

Nexen required the IT managements reporting to be available while off-site. Desire created a solution using Lotus Notes / Domino and Java to deliver the custom management reports down to the senior managements Blackberry Handheld devices. The solution developed is both very secure and responsive , allowing the users to review valuable data while in transit or away from a live connection. |

PinstripesforWomen.com is the latest venture of Miller Omni Media Inc.. Based in Winston-Salem, NC, this internet retail site had a very clean and simple existing site design that needed a clean and simple retail back-end. Pinstripes specializes in exclusive gifts and experiences for executive women.
Desire migrated the existing site into our proprietary eCommerce application. Existing web content is now fully editable using only a web browser. This allows Pinstripes staff to keep content current without highly specialized skills and software. Store inventory is fully controllable and sales are integrated real time with Verisign Payflow Pro. |
